Apple unveiled its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and also the all-new iPhone Air, which replaces the Plus. If waiting in line on release day is not your style, and you still want to get your hands on one right away, you will be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, in advance of the September 19th release date.The iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after years of waiting (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, the new A19 chip is faster as well as more energy-efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll experience a massive increase in speed and smoother gaming courtesy of ProMotion.

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.
